I'm waffling on how many stars to award. This place isn't swanky, and while they have a buffet AND the Mongolian Que, all for the same price, you might as well skip the buffet and just load up on the BBQ -- it was much better than what was available on the buffet. Well, maybe an egg roll...The chef (and, I assume, owner) is eager to please. In fact, he was clearly set on building my sauce for me, so I let him.I didn't know I could have ordered from a menu until after I'd sauntered up to the chow line, but that's ok. I ate here a bit late in the afternoon, well after what I assume the prime lunch hours would be, but there were still 4 or 5 other customers. Pricing wasn't bad (don't recall specifics, but I think I got out for under 10 bucks), and if you can push yourself past the lack of curb appeal, you'll probably thank yourself.I'll go with 3 stars for now, and see what happens on my next visit. One of the few places in this part of town that isn't 'traditional' BBQ, or a crab shack.

Best Mongolian BBQ in Jacksonville. Skip the Chinese Buffet, and go straight for the BBQ Grill. Great service and excellent BBQ.

This place has the best food. I give it 5 stars. The people who run it are very friendly. They even will leave out the MSG if you ask them to do it. They are willing to do about anything you ask in preparing your food. ...?

When I leave Jax, this will be the place I miss!!! The Mongolian BBQ is soooooooo good! I've never tried the food that they serve on the buffet because the DIY BBQ is what I will drive from Southside for. Don't let appearances fool you. It is a yummy, yummy place!?

They charged me for my son to BE there! He didnt eat - we told them he wouldnt be eating. But since he was in the restaurant, they charged me. I asked that it be taken off the bill, but they refused! Doesn't matter how good the food is if they dont treat their customers properly!?

I have eaten at this place no less than a couple of dozen times and love it. The real treat is the Mongolian Buffet which offers raw pork, chicken, and beef. You add raw vegetables and combination of sauces and oils. It took me about three visits to learn how to match mine perfectly. I liek my sweet with a hint of spice. The Chinese Buffet isn't so hot. I generally grab a couple of items while my Mongolian is cooking.?

I would bypass the buffet and head over the Mongolian BBQ area! I love putting together my own food and this way I'm not wasting ingredients that I won't eat anyway. Plus watching them cook it on a 400 degree flat stone is fun too. ...?
