This was one othe worst meals we have had. Here. Cold dry pork, Very stale noodles, the shrimp was not good the rice was not tasty.
The egg drop soup was okay.
Sad to say but...can't eat here anymore.
They need to heighten their standards for a $30 meal. For two.

The only reason I didn't give it 1 star was because the food was decent. Here's the rest of my tip - since my 5% tip I left is way below my standard (I tip very well for quality).1) don't be a bitch when someone sits at a table in the lounge and asks for a menu.2) wash your hands when you return from your cigarette breaks.

This is not a Chinese restaurant -- it is a restaurant ran by Chinese people! The service was horrible, the tables and condiments were coated in oil soot and the menu was a joke! If you are looking for large plates of greasy, starchy food then eat here -- if you are looking for any semblance of Asian food, go to Safeway and get something from the deli instead of this place!

As everyone knows, food rating is subjective. This restaurant will get mixed review, b/c the Chinese food (if you want to call it that) is westernised, and the restaurant is cater to the western population. When you enter this restaurant, you would be hard pressed to find any Chinese people eating at this establishment. The only thing they did right IMO is the rice. With that being said, the service was horrible, and in all fairness, there was only one waitress on duty, but she never came by our table to check to see how things were, nor did she refilled our glass with water (which was empty). The good news is that no one got sick from eating here. The waitress is so used to dealing with the Non-Chinese population, that she said in Chinese that I was cheap to a co-worker behind her b/c I left $4 tip for a $33 bill (I gave her $37)right in front of my face. Just think what she says about you behind your back (or right in front of you in Chinese).I wouldn't be surprise if I see this restaurant on "Kitchen Nightmare", "Dinner Impossible", or "Restaurant Stakeout". Only came here b/c it was close to the hotel I was staying at. Lesson learned, drive 30 minutes into the heart of Portland to get real authentic Chinese food. For me, tried this place once, never again.

We come here from time to time because they have decent American style Chinese food and it's reasonably clean, plus the drinks are strong and relatively cheap. Mars Meadow just rolled out a new menu with simpler options and a new focus on locally grown veggies. It tastes good, and looks nice, and there's a lot of it!It's not going to impress your friends, and it only has a touch of authenticity, but it's tasty and plentiful, and it's a nice change of pace from the places that are trying too hard.We had to debate between 3 and 4 stars because of the new menu, before it was a 3 and a half, now it's taken a step up with the new offerings and the fresher local food being a part of their efforts. The deep-fried foods and the soups are still the best dishes they serve, but their stir fry is improving, which is nice for folks who would like to eat a little healthier. We had Udon soup and one of the combos, and they allowed us to upgrade the pork chow mein in the combo to chicken for a buck; no complaints there. The Udon is thick, square flour noodles in a delicious and savory broth, with a pile of fresh green onion on top. It was positively delicious, and very filling. Even with the add-ons it was under $20, but they do offer more expensive dishes including a new build-your-own combo-for two, for $20.The staff always seems to be running here and there, and they're sometimes a bit slow getting you started with hot tea and soup, but they do a good job of making you feel appreciated by the time you're done. It's definitely worth the trip to Delta Park every once in awhile, and sometime we'll have to check out the lounge, it sounded like quite the party in there. I wouldn't drive out from Beaverton especially to eat here, but it's worth crossing the bridge for a change of pace.

I wouldn't say I was a fan of this restaurant because their customers are more towards to non-Asian population. My family and I were the only Asian customers in the restaurant. The reason why we stopped by here was because we wanted to eat something before we hit the road back to Seattle. I pulled the Yelp App, there it was! At first, we were a bit hesitant to go in because the area was kind of ghetto. But, after driving around the hood, we can't really find another restaurant. We sat down and required a Chinese menu, of course they don't have. And, they were honest about who most of their customers are. We appreciated! However, they let us to order what came up in mind and made it special for us in the kitchen. In addition, they stopped by constantly to check on us and made sure we were satisfied with our meals. My mom, a picky eater, she was happy with the food there actually. She thought the food was actually better than Facing East :-P I guess this is a good compliment.

Went here for lunch today and really enjoyed it. Good solid menu, priced very affordable and quite tasty. I thought the service was excellent! It's just the standard Chinese food that you find anywhere else with a few minor differences. I thought the hot and spicy soup was some of the best I have ever had. I had planned to go to the Mexican place next door but decided on Chinese instead and am glad I did.

Staff was okay ~ attentive. We ordered and one of the dishes was okay, hot enough and flavorful. But the other dish was a special ~ black bean curd, chicken and vegetables. It didnt taste good and then I was sick afterwards. All night and the next day. During the meal, I saw the cook from the order window of the kitchen cleaning his ears and wiping his face and such, which was not a pleasant sight. I didnt see him wash when an order came in though my visual was not of the whole kitchen but still. I would not recommend this restaurant!?

I entered this establishment hoping to get a good lunch - unfortunately I did not stick around long enough to order food. Situation - I entered around 1 pm and waited to be seated. The waitress, who was carrying a meal to another table motioned for me to follow and to sit at any open table. It was still lunchtime and the place was about 1/3 full, but all customers already had food served. There I sat unattended for ten minutes while watching one (of two) waitress chit-chat with one table and the other busing tables, before finally being served water, tea, and a menu. After another five minutes of neglect the waitress came to take my order. The lunch menu offered a traditional meal of sweet and sour pork with either pork fried rice or pork chow mein (both costing $6.50). I asked if I could have half fried rice and half chow mein, but the waitress bluntly indicated it was not possible. I have been to many chinese restaurants and all have been eager to make the dining experience a ...? More ?

On 9-25-09 I arrived at the restaurant to order a take out. Simple order of Chicken Chow Mein, Beef and Broccoli, some Won ton Soup, and some Pot Stickers. When I arrived home, my partner and I learned that the Chicken Chow mein was not really chow mein at all. It had nearly no Chicken in it, and instead of noodles, it was made with sprouts. It tasted horrible. The beef and broccoli was marginally better, and the won ton soup was okay. The won tons were actually tasty. The staff were friendly though, just the food was horrible. We wont be eating there again.?
